Well, like alot of you I have a 2007 silverado with the dreaded crappy front rotors..The shudder coming off the local mountain was just unbearable so I ordered the cross drilled and slotted rotors from Brakeamotive on E-bay along with the powerstop ceramic brake pads..They arrived today so I grabbed my two boys for a lesson on installing new rotors and brake pads.

Everything went smooth other than needing a huge cheater bar to get the caliper bolts lose. The torq's set screws on the rotors where rusted in place and took awhile to work loose. After everything was installed, All I can say is WOW..what a big difference in braking. No more pulsating pedal or shudder under hard braking..Just nice and smooth.

This something that I plan to do here soon also. Mine were good until some guy pulled out in front of me a couple months ago. Ever since then they shudder something fierce.

I had a slight pulsation around town but nothing that was really noticable. Then last week I was up on our local mountain and coming home some folks decided that they needed to drive well below the speed limit.. So I was braking WAAAAaaaaay more than I needed to..After a few hard slow downs my rotors where toast.

I've gotten several sets of rotors off the same place... They seem to be very good quality. I like them. :P

Congrats
