'92 C1500 Turn Signal Malfunction

Okay so on Wednesday, i installed some LED strips on the front of my truck (pictured below), and wired them so that they come on when i turn on the parking lights, so the LED's would turn on separate from the actual headlights. Unfortunately, my dad wired the right side wrong and the LEDs flashed with the turn signal (but still came on with the parking lights).

Everything worked fine until today, when my turn signals started acting up. When i turned them on (either left or right side) they would blink really weird as if to tell me that the bulb was going out, BUT when i pressed on the brake pedal, they stopped all together, no clicking noise, no dashboard indicator, and im pretty sure the actual signals werent coming on. When the truck is parked, the proble is non-existent.

Any ideas? I mentioned the LED's because i dont know if they are causing the problem or not.

UPDATE: Nevermind, the ground wire for the right taillight was corroded. Cut the corrosion off, and re-wired it, turn signals work fine now. Probably happened because of the recent torrential rains in my town lmao
