Heater Control Out of Control

I am having a problem with the heat in my truck and wonder if anyone else has had the same. When my controls are set to send air to the dash vents, I get a good mix of hot and cold air as the temperature knob is turned. If I set the selector to send the air to the floor, all I get is really hot air unless the temperature control is set all the way to cold. It roasts me out of the truck.  Any ideas on what is wrong or needs to be replaced. The truck is still under warranty so that will be the next stop :angry:

Don't feel left out.  I noticed mine does the same thing.  The '99 1500 I had before didn't do this.  Not sure what to think, but I know that if you have the vents selected, anything over 1/4 turn towards warm and it really blows out warm air and not a nice warm/cool mix.  Not as much cool air control.

My HD does the same thing I've never been able to have the dial on full hot just on a mix more to the cold side and I'm burning up in the truck...I also get the nice hot drafts your talking about with everything off.  Nature of the beast I guess

It does it on the '02's also.  Guess that what we get for having the quickest to cool/heat HVAC system of any vehicle.
