Water Drip Spots From Mirrors

Recommended Posts

I have drip spots from both of my mirrors on my truck. I clay barred my truck yesterday and I helped some but the spots are still there. How can I get rid of these spots

If clay didn't completely clear it up you'll need to polish, depending on the severity of the spotting/drip marks you might need anything from a very mild product all the way up to something more aggressive. It depends all on how bad they are. I'm sure someones going to chime in and say "Wax it" which will only temporarily hide the problem.

ya and I actually did wax it after claying it which did change it much. Will probably have to polish it. Is it absolutely necessary to get a porter cable to polish or can you do it by hand? I really dont want to spend money on one (I'm just going to college).

Its another case of 'depends on how bad they are' but doesn't hurt to try by hand... you'll see some improvement, but if they're anything less than really minor you won't be able to fully remove them by hand.
