Tpms Question

I am pursuing a set of 2011 factory chrome 20" take off's for my silverado. I will be going from the stock 2007 NNBS 18" Z71 wheels. My question is, will I be able to re-program the TPMS sensors on the new wheels to my 2007 NNBS truck? I have heard from some that it will work fine, but heard from others that the different year makes a difference, and will not work.

On a side note, I put a set of 2011 OEM 22" suburban wheels on my wifes '08 suburban, and the sensors reprogrammed just fine. Just not sure if the 2007's are different since it was the first year of the current style.

Please advise.

Thanks all!

Its the same procedure for 2007 as other years but i couldn't get my tires to reprogram had to take it to the dealer. I tried letting all the air out, only letting out for 2 seconds and letting out for 5-8 seconds. Couldn't get passed the second tire before it would time out. Dealer had to try twice before it worked but it still only took 5 minutes.

The New Body Style '07-11 trucks use part number 25920615

The Classic Body Style '07s use part number 15825475

So if you have the NNBS then they will work
