Water Leak

got a nice water stain now on the headliner after about 2inches of heavy rain the other night. looks to me that right where the back corner of the cab meets the ext. cab door theres about a 3in section that they use some sort of caulk/body filler in. well mine looks to have some hairline cracks. has anyone else had this problem or is it a known issue with the NBS ? and do i need to take it in or can i just put some clear silicone on it if its just the body filler cracking?

Only leak I found was from the third brake light. Check to see if that's cracked where it screws in

Yup been there and done that...... It starts cracking and it runs down the post and into the cab floor. Clear silicon or use wire bush wheel to remove old body calking and replace and repaint...... My 99 had this leak as well as my 01..

 

But the Third brake like will leak also....
