Locking Out Od

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.Towed my "new to me" 7100# camper home the other day and was very impressed with the performance of the 6.2L.However,in tow/haul mode it seems the engine stays in a higher rpm range than is necessary. When left in "D" the engine lugs a little when it shifts into OD.What do I have to do to lock out the OD while in Drive and not use tow/haul? Thanks.

BTW, Best sounding gas engine I have ever owned with stock exhaust.

Put the shifter in the "M" (manual mode) position. Select 5th gear or any other gear you desire with the +/- button.
