so i took a video to show the noise it happens more so when the brakes are hot not so much when theyre cold. but this is what happens when the brakes are applied and depressed.

im going to try and get it into gm to have em look at as soon as i can get sum time off work.

anyone have any thoughts on what this problem sounds like? both sides make the same noise not just 1

thanks for the help.

In typical GM fashion, they couldn't spare the extra .50 cents per axle on caliper grease on the assembly line, sounds like. :dunno:

Any brake parts lubricant will do .... but if it were mine I'd get some NAPA / Permatex #: 765-1831 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant, & do all the pad-to-shim contact points, and maybe even a little where the piston contacts the pad.
