I'm going to have to give an A+ for Pace-Edwards customer service. I have had my Jack Rabbit for about 3 years and it has never really seemed to keep water out very well. I know these things are not supposed to be watertight but I figured they should keep quite a bit of water out.

I contacted Pace-Edwards about 6 months ago and told them about my problem. Basically all of the water came in at the tailgate and soaked the first 1/3 of the bed. I sent them a picture and they sent me some clip-on seals that go on the ends of the tailgate to close the gap caused by the rails. They said I must not have had these when I bought it and sent them free of charge. That seemed to work a little but there was still a leak. I ended up adding another strip of weatherstripping to the original seal to make it seal tighter against the tailgate. That worked but I noticed that the original seal was cracking and tearing. So I contacted then on Monday and said I need to purchase a replacment tailgate seal. I get an email back asking to contact the sales department and I can purchase one. I was on the website a few days before and I noticed that they have redesigned the tailgate seal since I purchased mine. I sent him an email back with a picture stating that I would like to purchase the one pictured and if he can give me a part number for when I call sales.

I get an email back asking if I want the same seal I have or a better one and that he will send it to me free of charge. My cover is 3 years old and way out of the original warranty so this should not be something that is covered. I responded and said I would love to have a better one and asked if the one in the picture I sent him was the better one. He said that it is supposed to be the newest, better seal but he personally does not like it because it does not seal as well as some others. He says he will send me his personal favorite that looks better and even seals better than the one I wanted and even says that if for some reason I do not like it, he will swap it out free of charge to the one I want. I sent him the serial number for the cover and 30 minutes later get an email with my confirmation number and stating that it has been shipped out.

That is some awesome customer service in my opinion. He responded to my emails within an hour each time and offered to send the seal to me free of charge and even offered to swap it out if I didn't like it. I was fully prepared to purchase a new seal and was in no way looking a handout or something free. This was all on him. There covers might be a little more expensive than some of the other covers out there but there quality seems to be pretty good and the customer service even better.

Sorry for the long-winded post but wanted to share my full experience.
