When i decide on what tire i want and am able to afford rims at some point should i go with 17'' which is stock on my truck or 18''rims? Will i even notice much difference in look from 17 to 18''? Im not looking to lift the truck up a bunch or anything but im looking to put some 33'' or so tires on. Thanks

16 to 17.. 17 to 18 its tough to see the difference, in my opinion i would go with 20,s, ive done it in the past and other guys in here have done and said the same thing, that if you do 17 youll wish you did the 18,s OR if you go 18 youll wish you went with the 20,s

especially on a fullsize truck. look at the newer pickups and suvs of any brand and there coming with 20,s from the factory and look really good.

You do notice a little difference but it's like Ron said the 20" will make the biggest overall difference. I want 18's for cost reasons in the tire department but i just cam across practically new set of moto metal 951's and 285/70/17's big o at's for 500 bucks with trading my factory rims and tires so im just going to do it and be happy. The smaller the rim size the cheaper the tire.

im looking at cost reasons and fitment for going with 18's or 17's. with a 20 wont i have a little worse fitment issues?

As long as you get the proper offset in the rim fitting 20's is no problem. The key is the proper offset.

whats the proper offset then? I plan on putting 295's or 33's on with just cranking up my torsion bars?

If you do, keep them and run 295's on them. They will look good.

Ya thats the same rims i have.
