hey everyone! my name is Kevin im 23 and i live in Buford Ga. My dad worked at the Doraville assembly plant so needless to say i was born and raised on Chevrolet, that all that was aloud to be parked in the drive way up until about a year ago. Anyway about 2 years ago i had an 05 extended cab silverado and a lady lost control hitting me head on totaling my truck and shattering my right knee. finally after 2 years if lawyers and fighting i am a week away from settling and buying a truck which i have already picked out sitting on a car lot near my house(if someone buys it before me I'll lose my mind!) It's a green 2005 2wd Silverado crew cab with 63K miles on it with a 5.3 and the 17 inch alloys on it. I have always had lifted 4wd's and this time i decided to try something different so im gonna build myself a street truck. as of now im thinking 2/4 drop, cam, trick flow heads and all the other normal goodies. i have a 98 honda accord i drive back and forth to work so this is gonna be my BadA** Sunday truck. wow i have rambled on way to much if anyone wants to know more fill free to ask I'm an open book and looking forward to getting to know some like minded CHEVY NUTS! here is a pic of my hopefully future truck(if i can figure out how to put a pic on here)

Thanks, I traded my 2010 and some cash for it, couldnt pass the deal up the 2000 has 75,000 mile and is in great shape. It needed new tire and found a set of 18 inch oem factory take-offs for 975.00 so just had to get them.

wow a 2000 silverado with 7500 miles that crazy i wouldn't mind having that one. its hard to find that body style with low miles. my hope is if this truck does end up being mine i would like to find a set of 20 inch oem newer tahoe wheels. or if i found a set off 22 inch oem escalade wheels that wouldn't clean out my bank account i would love to have a set of them. its juat always nice to stay with oem stuff you run the risk of ruining the look or your truck when you buy after market wheels, some times they just don't look right for some reason.

hey everybody,

 

i know its been a while sine i have been on here, but better late than never right? anyway that truck i posted on here earlier was sold before i could get to it, but i am thankful that happened. i was able to find a heck of a deal. i bought a 2007 black silverado z71 4 wheel drive extended cab with 28K on it. i got it for about 7 thousand less than what KBB said it was worth and i bought from the original owner so i didn't have to pay sells tax! anyway since i have had it i have put lights behind the grill, likes under the rear, an intake, and tuned it. i am also in the middle of building a fiberglass sub box to fit under the rear seat. when i got it the older owner had already leveled it with 285's and had dual exhaust with a flowmaster 40 series put on. i have alot more plans for this truck. way to many to list and that list changes everyday so ill just keep you posted as i get things completed. here are a few pics of my new baby!
