Can anyone verify if the part number 17801236 (standard remote start keyfob) on gmpartsdirect.com actually comes with the code that the installer needs when contacting GM to get the remote start to function?

It does have the code listed on the install instructions that are included. The tech has to call GM with that code and then download the file from GM to a Tech2 and then to your truck. Whole thing should take no more than 1/2 hr labor. Just had mine done last week.
