New Tires Rub

my dad just got 285/75r16 dick cepek fc-II and dick cepek dc2s on his 2010 gmc 2500hd its got the plow package. we cranked the torsin bars all the way up and they still rub. will a 3/2 levling kit fix this problem???

It's the wheel offset causing the problem. What offset do the wheels have?. I'd do a body lift before the 3/2 leveling kit since all the leveling kit is,.. is new indexed keys most likely.

and the problem is he dont like body lifts

DO a 1 or 2" block in the rear."stock shocks will be fine" And new torsion keys up front with the shock extensions so the front shocks can stay also.. It will look great and youll never have rubbing issues again! Ive done this one tha last 5 hd,s ive had. you will love it

i beleive that is the plan that he is doin.. what does the plow prep packaage come with?

Don't do a body lift on an HD. How much lift did the factory keys get him? The answer to that question will determine if he needs aftermarket keys. If he got 2" + out of the stockers then do not get leveling keys.

It looks like the Dick Cepek DC-2 wheels come in -12 and -25 offset in the 16'' size.... so ya, gotta figure out what he has

ill ask him when he gets home. the factory keys got him like 1 inch of lift in the front

and he aint doin a body lift he wants to do the 3 in the front and 2 in the back
