Looking for some direction

hey all, I have been wanting to get my truck tuned for 10 years and haven't done it yet. anyway, I have 4 GM vehicles in the driveway right now so I am considering buying one of the "systems" so I can do them all.

A couple things though, cost is obviously a big factor, and I do not plan on REALLY getting in to the tunes themselves. I am looking for something that I can maybe download a semi-generic tune, do the vehicle, then not ever think about it again. For example, I have a 01 regal and a 05 impala that I would just like to run better, little more pep, little more mileage. I have a express van that a little more power and mileage would be nice and my truck the same with a little performance thrown in?

I drive like a grandpa and don't needs any whiplash type of tunes, but just general improvements. Is there a system that has a good following where you can just d/l other's basic tunes for free? I really can't afford to spend $600 on a system, then another $300 per vehicle per tune and so on.

Thanks,

Brew

I would look at a blackbear tune with efi live autocal. Have never heard a bad thing about the blackbear tune. I will be getting one as soon as i do a few more mods. You can find a used autocal for around $200 and to tune each car its $250. It Will improve how the car drives a lot!
