best way to lift front end on 2002 sierra 2500HD

hey,

i went to local spring shop and got another leaf put it and it raised the rear end. i want to know the best, safest way to raise the front 2-3 inches. ive read alot about the torsion keys and know to crank them up to max 2 inch lift.

my buddy was saying you don't really want to do this because it changes alot in the front end and he suggested just to get the leaf taken out later.

I would perfer to leave the AAL in and raise the front. would getting other shocks do anything or is cranking the torsion keys the only way to raise the front end. I figure that the leveling kits are just tthe same thing, cranking up the keys

thanks

Shocks wont do anything for height.......

I'm not into the lifting stuff but I wonder if they make front air-lift bags, like they do for the rear.... :dunno:

BTW...... It would help a lot if you would list the year/model of your truck.....2WD...4WD etc in your signature line.

Just crank the torsion keys. On and HD you can get up to 2.5" out of em without damaging anything or altering the ride quality much. People think that cranking the keys will destroy your front end, but it wont hurt anything as long as you dont over-crank them. New shocks wont do anything for raising the height.

^ This. Don't waste your money on a new set of keys. Just crank your stock ones. If you don't get the look you want, remove the real add-a-leaf or buy an actual suspension lift for the front.

Curious, how much did it cost for the add a leaf in the rear? Also, how much height did that add?

Cost me the time it took to unbolt the U-nolts and swap in the new leaf. Its really too easy to pay someone else to do it. I got about 2.25" - 2.5" IIRC.
