TPS mod on 2006 6.0 motor

Is there a TPS mod for these 6.0L engines with the electronic throttle?? I have done a TPS mod on my previos motorcycle and s10. Both had mechanical throttle bodies though. The mod didnt really increase horsepower, but helped with throttle response and made sure that the computer recognized when the throttle blade was actually at full open to optimize air/fuel ratio. Just wondering. This was a free mod on my bike and old s10.

The jist of what I did was with the key in the on position but with the engine off, you would measure the voltage output on the TPS. If it was not within a certain range, it can decrease throttle response.

Just curious if anyone had heard of this on these trucks.

I learned from justin at BB, that theres a 30 sec delay for full throttle. I think this is what your getting at.. he tunes for it and can adjust or eliminate

It is called a PE - delay... (Power Enrichment).. My 3500 had a 60sec delay programmed into it from GM.. Its gone..Thank you Justin..lol.lol.. Sure makes a difference not having it.

So basically with the electronic throttle it is all a computer issue needing reprogramming vs manually adjusting the TPS to match the throttle blade?
