96 Blazer P0140

I have a friend with a 96 Blazer 4.3 that is getting an O2 sensor code. I would just like to verify with sensor this is. Bank 1 sensor 2. Stock exhaust has 1 cat.

Am I correct in thinking this is the sensor before the cat?

1 sensor in left downpipe, 1 sensor in right downpipe, 1 before the cat, and 1 after the cat.

If its sensor 2, that usually means post cat. Not sure what setup is on the 96's. My 98 Sonoma has two pre cat sensors, one on each bank, and one post cat, with no electrical hookup for it. Thought that was wierd. Sorry i'm not more help.
