Readylift 2.25" leveling kit or Fat Bob's Garage 2.5" fron

I found a readylift 2.25" kit for 151.26 shipped and then found a fat bob's garage 2.5" front and 1.5" - 2.5" rear for about 206. shipped. I see a lot of people have the readylift and like it. The fat bob's has the billet spacer for the front and add a leaf's for the rear. From what I've been reading and hear the rear add a leaf's will make it ride a little bit rougher but will add some towing capacity. Does any have this fat bob's kit? or some input as to which would be better? I know that odds are with fat bob's kit the truck would still have rake and I'm not that worried about it. Thanks.

I have the fat bob leveling kit on my front end and firestone airbags the rear. The kits has the spacer that goes on top of the strut and the other spacer for the bottom. As far as ride goes, its slightly firmer but definitely not rough. I was extremely happy with the quality of the kit and FAST shipping and it was really easy to install myself. I don't know much about readylift but I've been have with Fat Bobs kit.

Did you get the kit that has the billet spacers? Do you notice any noise coming from the front? By the way your truck looks good.

Jeremy,

My name is Steve, I work at Fat Bob's Garage. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the kit. The rear add-a-leaf will lift the back of your truck about 1.5-2.0 inches, lift height completely depends on the condition on the leaf packs and what the truck has been used for in it's life span. As for noise on the front end as long as the spacers have been installed and torqued down properly i have never had an issue with it.

Feel free to call me with any questions 801-395-2134 or I will reply on here

Thanks

Stephen

Thanks Steve for posting. I really started the thread in hopes of hearing some reviews on your products. It seems you guys do a lot of Jeeps and Toyota's but when I searched the internet I couldn't find a whole lot of people with the new GM's. A friend of mine has a leveling for the old body style on his Chevy and is pleased with it. I do think I've talked myself into the kit that comes with the blocks instead of the helper springs. Now I need to measure my truck and find out whether to go with the 1" or 1.5" lift with the blocks. I don't think this will go on my truck till summer so I may keep my eyes peeled and see if the kit goes on special at all before then.

I'm just here to try to help! usually with those trucks it takes about 2 inches to level it (I put on on my Silverado and my mom's Yukon) so you might want to measure before you order. if you or anyone else has a question you can call me at the shop at 801-395-2134 or email me at [email protected].
