I ordered some 20x10 fuel throttle wheels in chrome from rimzoneonline.com I have had them on for about 4 months now and they are already starting to show some minor pitting i have had them polished and cleaned and i am pissed after only 4 months they are already pitting, I live in FL and the truck stays parked in my driveway 5 days a week. What should i do about this???

I would just contact the company you bought them from, even though they will probably tell you to take it up with Fuel themselves. Just try with both companies and hopefully you will be taken care of. Hope for the best and keep your cool even though it will be hard.

I bought mine from rimzoneonline also, very good dealing with them and would recommend them for purchases. However I am not satisfied with the quality of Fuel wheels in general as it took me 8 wheels to get 4 good ones. rimzoneonline and MHT were both good at taking care of this so you hopefully won't have any issues either.

I would snap a couple pics and email them to rimzoneonline and see what they say. That is how I handled the manufacturing defect issue I had to deal with.

I am in PA and have no pitting or other finish issues with the set I have now. I will be removing them soon for winter salt though.

Goodluck and let us know how it turns out.

I have to agree i enjoyed dealing with rimzone i cant believe it took you 8 wheels and you have the throttles as well. How were they in dealing with the issue did it cost you a lot of money out of pocket??? How did the handle it? Thanks for the info i am shocked it must be these particular wheels.

I opened the wheels when I received them and the edge on two of them were damaged, had to be that way from manufacturing. I just snapped a couple pics and sent them off, they sent me 2 new wheels the wrong size, and had to send 2 more the right size. They were shipped direct to me, so it wasn't rimz fault. It was all handled very well, I paid nothing except for the initial 4 I ordered.

Most wheel manufacturer's chrome sucks. I haven't seen a set yet that didn't pit, even with great care. But most also have a 1 year finish warranty, so you should be just fine.
