Custom Elements HID conversion kits

I just installed a 6000K HID headlight conversion that my wife bought me for my birthday. I have no foglights and do lots of night driving in the woods. I have been using Sylvania Silverstars for the last few years and were happy with them, except that they only last about a year. I noticed that the HIDs are more "blue" in color and you can see better at night, especially out to the sides. The beam seems more focused and kind of low. I am probably going to adjust the headlights up a bit.

She found them online at cheaphidconversionkits.com. I must say I am very impressed with the quality of the kit. The wiring and connectors are top-notch. They advertise that the kits are made in the USA. My only problem is that my wife ordered them on November 5, and I just got them last week. She had gotten a FedEx tracking number sent to her email within two days, but it showed that the shipment was never received by FedEx for a month. We tried calling and sending emails to Custom Elements that were never answered. We even opened a dispute through PayPal (we always use PayPal when dealing with a new vendor). Paypal notified us about a week later that the shipment was on its way, but we never heard from the company.

I would buy from again based on the quality, but their customer service is horrible. If I found a company that made the kits with the same quality, made in USA, I would give them a try first before using Custom Elements again.

I can all but promise that kit wasn't made in the US, all the inexpensive ones usually come from a factory in China which is why there can be such a long lead time. Good luck, as lots of these places are fly by night and if you have a component fail, you may not be able to get the same part.
