O2 sensor location?

A couple weeks ago the check engine light came on in my 2006 GMC 2500HD, 6.0L. I went to a local parts store and they read the error code with a computer to find out the problem is an O2 sensor. Bank 1, sensor 2. I was told that sensor is located on the drivers side exhaust after the cat. Can anyone confirm this? I purchased a new sensor and replaced what i think is the right sensor, but the same error code is still in the computer a week after changing it. I have already checked the electrical connection and it looks fine.

Drivers side behind the cat is correct.

^{Did you clear the code after changing the sensor? It can take a little while for the tests to recomplete before the computer is satisfied the problem is gone. Also an error code does not always mean that part is bad. It could be something else in the chain. How many miles on this truck?}
