Front differential fluid change

I have a 2003 chevy silverado Z71 and I was wondering if its safe to use 75W-90 gear oil on the front differential. My owners manual says it uses 80W-90 on the front. If anybody has used 75w90 synthetic gear oil on the front can u please provide some advice? It would be greatly appreciated. Ive been planning on using mobil1 brand.

75w-90 is fine. Its actually a step up from 80w-90, i use it in my front and rear. The 75w and 80w are just the viscosity when its cold, they both are a 90 when they warm up.

Thanks for the advice, im gonna go with 75w90 mobil1 synthetic on both front and rear.
