03 yukon hard right hand steer.

At slow speeds or stoppes the power steering goes out when turning right. From everything I have read the valves stick in the gear box not letting the fluid pass. Is this correct information? Whats the best replacement box? Thanks

I am sure you have already done this but have you checked your power steering fluid level. I was having somewhat the same problem and my P/S fluid was low. Just added to it a few days ago and have not had any problems YET. I will repost when I am sure that fixed it or not.

Do a search for "steering gear", I don't recall what the replacement part number is but yes there is an upgraded steering box for our vehicles. My truck has starting doing this a lot lately, changing the fluid did help somewhat. I'm hoping the box holds out until I can get a new one.
