HIDs Installed

I picked up a set of Raptor 35W 5000k HIDs from DDM Tuning and installed them yesterday. All I can say is WOW, what a difference. I was really debating between the 5000k and 6000k. I was looking for bright white light, not blue. The 5000k are very bright with the slightest tint of blue.

I had heard of several complaints with shipping time with DDM, but it wasn't too bad. It toook 11days from order to showing up at my door.

The install itself was kind of a PITA though. GM sure made it harder to access the headlight bulbs in the GMT900. The air box and washer fluid container are right in the way. I ended up just removing the grille since I had to mount the ballasts. I probably could have managed without taking the grille off, but I would have still had to remove the air box.

All in all, I am very happy. The GMT900 seems to do a very good job with light scatter. I will be doing the fogs next.
