05 silverado stock tailgate cap part #

Anyone know the part # for gmparts direct for the stock tailgate cap. Also the caps for the bed rails holes. Can't seem to find them on their site. Not the spoiler type, but the flat cap with square tread on top. Bought the truck used and its a bit torn up. Thanks in advance.

i kinda want the opposite, im thinking i want the spoiler type tailgate cap. i have the flat smooth black piece. havent seen a gmc with the silverado style tailgate. and are you looking for whole bed rail caps or just the covers for the stake holes?

Just looking for the stock plastic stakehole covers.... Do you know of a parts breakdown diagram type website for GM. The GM parts sites just seem to have basic descriptions.

No, I will get the online part # and the part will be half what the dealer charges. Then print out the price and the part#, take it to the dealer and have them match the price and I won't have to pay for shipping.

I've already done this with my gm factory fog light kit. They still make some money, Iam just not getting bent over. If gmparts giant makes money at this price so do the dealers. I will pay full price on some items like gm fluids and small parts at the dealer. It also keeps me coming into the dealer for face time. Also I may have it serviced there if they cut me deals on parts. It's a win / win for customer and dealer.

Iam sure some dealers won't change their price. But to compete with online gm parts websites iam sure some dealers will match prices. Maybe Iam just lucky, but if your shopping for a part it's worth a try. Say " if you can't even come close to the online price, I will order it online".
