Back-up Sensors, LEDs vs. Beeping: reprogrammable?

Hey guys, specifically maybe GM Techs,

 

Is there ANY WAY to reprogram the rear back up sensors? In 2010, they replaced the stupid rear-pillar LEDs (amber/amber/red) with the beeping (with shortening of the intervals between beeps as you get closer). I HATE having to look at the LEDs, AND out the back window back and forth. I would rather just have the constant beeping (like every other manufacturer!)

 

Since it's probably just a "software setting" (since I already HAVE the sensor system) think there's anyway to reporgram it?

My 09 does both, no more traffic lights on the new ones?

No in 2010 they did away with the LEDs.

 

My '08 beeps ONCE when you put it in reverse, then does nothing, except the LEDS go from amber/amber/red, then one continuous beep when you're a foot away. I wonder if I can somehow get the code programmed on my '08 with that of an '09?
