Going to pick up my 2012 2500hd this week. Its a LT so no nav or dvd so what options are out there. I see there is a factory headrest with 7 inch lcd out there but are there anything better.

Its it better to got with a factory head unit and buy the parts to put the factory nav in. I do have a backup cam option in the rear view mirror.

I would love on the head unit

Look like it belongs.

Nav of course

Enter the address while moving

Watch dvd while moving

Work with iphone or itouch

I would like to stream pandora to the radio... Even better if I could control it

Bluetooth phone would be nice.

Head rest match the ebony leather it ok if i need to cut them

Biggest I can get in there

Good picture quality

Able to watch the same dvd on both or watch different dvds.

Wireless headphones

Can be easy to install or hard dont matter to me. Just needs to be clean install look like it should be there.

I would RUN away from factory stuff in your truck!

The system you're describing is an Advent OGM-1 and Advent or Rosen 7" replacement headrest DVD's (no cutting involved) - I couldn't have listed the features any better than your checklist!

However, if you wanted to save some money, you could go with the Rosen AV-7550 7" headrest monitors only and feed them the DVD output from the Advent navi - in that scenario, you can still listen to something else or watch iPod video up front while the passengers watch the DVD on the rear monitors - they can even control the DVD from the factory rear console controls.

The Rosen monitors have no DVD in either headrest, but both come with a USB and an AUX input so the rear seat passengers could still listen to or watch their own source while the other one is watching DVD. This system is almost as good as having 2 DVD headrests, but it's almost half the price - you can use the money you save to buy an iPad or a couple iPod Touch's!

Interesting i checked out the links. The rosen with no dvd which i love to get way from will it play divx off the usb? Each kid does have their own iptouch but saidly they are 8gb which is not that many shows.

Walt can you give me pricing and options if I give you a call this week?

For got to add on the checklist.. On that nav unit can i use my rear camera it is suppose to be in the rearview.
