So, What it's like in the lovely Richmond area

Well, Friday night the parental unit and I were out on the town (Just picked up an arificial tree).

We decide to head home at 10:30pm, so we're tootling down the road, and this cop starts weaving in & out of traffic and zooms around us like he has some where important to go, and then we get to the next stop-light, he hits the blue light and the sirens, and he was off, then he got out of our sight.

Then the next light, an Animal Control officer zooms by us with his lights & sirens a'blazing, and I thought to myself, that somebody got mauled by a dog or something.

Well after he gets out of our sight, we come up to a busy intersection, and we pull up to the stoplight,and these 2 regular police cars drag race eachother going 90mph going the perpendicular direction from us.

So we figured something must be going down, and it was worth seeing. (I admit, every time some incident happens near us, we go check it out )

So we head in that direction and keep eyes peeled for flashing lights.

Well,5 or 6 blocks down the road, we saw nothing but blue lights.

I'm not lying when I say 75% of the police force was there,at this ghetto type motel.

Atleast 20 cop cars in the median, around 50 cop cars on one side of the building and another 50-75 on the other side. Plus atleast 2 or 3 in the 3 or 4 parking lots surrounding the place. 0 Fire Engines 0 Ambulances. Oh, and 1 "Eye in the Sky" (Helicopter with search-light ).

So, needless to say,we got a little scared.

We never found out what happened, News never said anything (even though we called and told them about it).

But here are some things to think about.....

"Single" Murders\Homicides= 5 police cars (usually)

Armed Robberies =1-5 police cars

When they bomb-threat places like Wal-mart, you'll only see about10 police cars, tops.

So WTF could it have been? I'm thinking either Standoff (If that's the case,then what was the "Eye in sky"for? ), or mass killings.
