Silverado fogs on Sierra

Street Scene makes a bumper cover that looks like the Silverado SS. Can I simply change the round fogs to the rectangular fogs. Or are the brackets different.

From what I remember seeing when I was looking at buying a kit for my 07 classic, the Silverado mounts are much wider. I think...

If you buy the bumper everything you need should come with it, I would think. Before yo uget that bumper, check and see what comes with it.

i just need to know the mounts for the lights. i have to cut the holes in the bumper for the ducts. and it goes over my existing metal bumper. i have to cut my fog light holes for the duct in my existing plastic. i just want to mount the silverado lights in the the ducts

Ohhh, I see. The brackets are different. The housing on the Silverado ones are larger to accomidate for the square shape. You may be able to make it work since it goes over your existing bumper though. It won't matter what it looks like because you won't be able to see where you cut/modified. I would still measure the brackets before doing it, just to get an idea of how much modding you will need to do.

The have the same basic mounting style, on a L shaped bracket hanging from the top but the size is different, sierra lights have a longer bracket, add that too the ducts on that bumper cover being low and it wont work easily. I can 99% say they would not be an exact fit for those openings anyway and will just look like a hack job. If you want extra light you should look into a led light bar and put it between the two hooks.

i see pics of them done with the factory fogs done. but not really any write ups. i could lower the brackets and modify with flat stock

Well what do the fog light plastic brackets mount to? Is it frame? And compared to the sierra do the silverado fogs sit lower in the valance than the sierra? Also what are the differences in the assemblies with the reflector in front of the bulb and ones without. I know the sierra has these types too and mine have the reflector infront of the bulb
