Ok so somehow my remote starter got fried and the vehicle would not start any more it would just turn over in a really weird manor. I know it got fried because we were changing the brake switch and grounded something out by accident. One of the fuses to the remote start went pop and seen a bit of smoke. Anyway long story short it worked before the fuse went pop and didn't after. Here is my question though I Partially unconnected the remote start wiring all except wires going to two relay switches that were taped to the remote start module and removed the remote start module. Anyway once removed the truck had not power to the dash and would not even crank over until I joined two red wires under the steering that use to be spliced into and went to the old remote start module. Boom truck started and ran like a kitten then I noticed that one of the wires on the PASSLOCK II module the blue one to be exact was broken off. I unplugged it completely and the truck still ran. I shut it off started it over again and it ran like a champ. I have put aprox. 100 km on the truck without the passlock module hooked up at all and all seems fine. IS THIS REALLY POSSIBLE, CAN THIS BE COMPLETE BY-PASSED? To the point that it doesn't even need to be plugged in any more?
