2010 RPO question

I noticed my truck has rpo ap8 which according to the chart I printed off is remote vehicle starter prep package. Does this mean installing a gm remote starter would be easier because of that?

take it to the dealer, buy the remote start they install it and they reprogram your truck

I do believe to have GM remote start you either have code AP3, which means you have it already' or code AP8 which means your truck is prepped for it but not equiped

I printed off the rpo codes for my 10 and I do the ap8 which says remote start prep.
