You will need an adapter so the outputs from the OEM head unit can RCA inputs to the amp. If I were you, I would run new wires to the speakers from the amp. Sound quality will be much better. I kept my stock head unit and installed a Boston Acoustics GTA 704 4 channel amp and a component speaker system for the front SC60 and two ways SC65 for the rears. While the bass is not overwhelming, it is OK for me as I don't want an amp under my rear seats. Good luck. Crutchfield has everything you would need to get this done.

Thanks Jim, i bought a set of

Kenwood Excelon KFC-XP184C but they don't really sounds as good as stock! so i was thinking of adding a

Kenwoood 4Channel Amplifier (KAC-8405) and the Pioneer 10" Slim Subwoofer System (TS-SWX251) to the mix and just turn the fade to front those rear speakers are horrible

you know if i should order the adapters from PAC?

Depending on which radio you have... On anything but the Denali Nav, the PAC AOEM GM1416 plugs in between the harness and stock radio and give F&R RCA outs. Their website lists it as "not for premium" systems or some such warning. I called and was told that it's just the Denali it doesn't work with.

My 11' with Bose worked great with it.

I've installed 2 of those amps in the last year - they are a great deal. It has a speaker level adapter and an auto detect, so you don't need the PAC. Pull the head, cut the speaker wire coming out and run spliced wires to the amp. Run the amped wires back to the stock wire you cut. You essentially have to run 8 wires (4 out and 4 back) to the amp and back so label them. I brought them down inside the dash to the carpet then fish taped them through to the rear passenger. Then you just need to run a power cable from the battery (I drilled behind the right front wheel well and ran it along the right sill) and ground it to the back seat bolt (make sure you grind off the paint or it will buzz). Keep your existing rears for fill since they are 8 ohm. I run the B channel bridged to my downfire sub on the driver rear side. I installed my whole system for around $400 (although I could have saved about $75 by not replacing the rear door speakers - they are underpowered with the factory amp). Keep in mind - I was non BOSE which makes upgrading much easier.
