Headers/Cam advice

Hello.

I have a 2000 sierra 5.3. CAI,Nelson tune, true dual exhaust with highflow cats and flowmaster 40's. Was getting interested in headers... from what i've read longtubes are the way to go. Just looking for some advice on if I should do it or not. Would they do anything even though I already have a true dual system? (basically everything BUT headers).

And whats your opinion on cams? Does it increase a lot of power and how much are they roughly??

Truck has 220,000km on it. In miles I think its somewhere around 136,000.

well, sorry im late on this but will tell you first hand. check out dynatech headers...bolted on with no issues , of course you get the CEL (check engine light) but that can be fixed in your tune.

Stainless works, Is the only way to go for a top qaulity tuned long tube header that is designed and hand built to work with your vehicle, There building me a set now for my 8.1 sierra,, 30-35 garunteed HP..

The cam i have came from Raylar but i think they only do 8.1 stuff

So how much power is it supposed to give? And how much money?

Check out pacesetters too...I would go with a thunder racing cam, and if you got the money a higher stall torque tht matches the cam...
