2006 Chevy Express 3500 sliding door handle broke

Hi,

 

My 2006 Chevy Express 3500 passenger sliding door handle broke off.

The inside handle worked fine, but the outside required a firm

pull or it would not open. The last time my kids tried it,

the handle on the sliding door broke off.

 

I ordered the outside sliding door handle assembly and wanted

details on how to replace the part and adjust the lock to open

easily. Details like this posting would be very helpfull
