Bose speaker problem

I have a 04 Chevy Silverado Crew cab with the bose 7 speaker system, i replaced the head unit with an aftermarket one.

but im having a problem with the front left speaker, it will just cut out most of the time and occasionally come on and sound fine.

all the other speakers work fine, i tried replacing the speaker but it made no difference.

i have no idea what it could be so i hope someone has had this issue or knows what it could be.

Id say its a bad wire or bad ground.. would only make sense if it works sometimes but not others..
