07-present GMT 900 Ext cab WT truck window question.

How do the rear door quarter window on all GMT 900, without power windows, trucks open? They don't have a manual crank handle or power switch.

Not from the windows. Either open the rear slider if you have it or turn up the AC/heat. I doubt it can be swapped either- the doors are probably substantially different inside.

I'm in the middle of converting all mine to power. The rear windows do roll up and down! There IS a manual regulator in the door, but they just put a bolt in it to hold the window up. I guess the couldnt find a convenient way to put the crank handle thru the door panel to where it wouldnt interfere with the rear seat...so they just left the handle off and hid it with the door panel. Probably just easier to mount the window on the assembly line that way. I just ordered the rear regulators w/motor for 50 bucks a piece and replaced the manual regulators with the power regulators. Used the Electric Life window kit on the front from A1 Electric and a SPAL switch kit. Still in the process of wiring the rears up, but have tested everything out and works like a dream! Sure is nice to have power windows! Probably would have been easier to just trade for a truck with the options I wanted....but my father in law left the truck to me...and it kind of holds sentimental value to me.
