2011 steering feedback question

So this is my first 2500. I have had 1500's and other trucks. The steering on this truck seems stiffer and when going over washboard type bumps I get a weird feeling through the wheel almost like a bad strut. I brought it in to dealer...I figured steering stem problem. They tell me everything is fine. Anyone know what the heck this is? Also this truck rides rough as hell over bumps...is this HD suspensions characteristics?

Welcome to the big boys toy club, if you have the correct air pressure your truck will ride rougher than a 1500. That being said load it up a 1,000 pounds and its like driving a Caddie. Also your steering feel is just the heaver duty frame and other componets. Enjoy your new ride!! Post up some pics (or some of these guys will rag on you)
