2012 Impala... Impressed

I take my truck to the dealership Monday for blend door actuators so I rented a car today for the week. I ended up with a 2012 Impala. I love it. I wish there were small upgrades but this is a rental with a lower trim. But it has power seats and a console. I wish it had auto dim mirrors and a usb port

 

But I am highly impressed with the 3.6 engine. It has some balls. Not sure if it is a 4 or 6 speed.

3.6 motors only got the 6 speed. One of the big let downs in the current Impala has no factory option for a USB port, the design is so old it predates all that stuff.

Yes it does look nice. I like the new mesh grilles and the power of the one I have in my driveway.

Impalas are nice we rented one a couple years ago for our west coast road trip. That one was pretty loaded it had leather, but they gave it to us with only 50% oil life we tore the hell out of it we put 5,000 miles on it over 12 days.
