Antifreeze change and flush

With the newer trucks, how often do we need to change and flush the radiator. Also, does the age of the antifreeze play much of a role or is it strickly milage.

I believe it's 5 years or 100 K miles. Personally, that's a little too long for my liking. I prefer every 2 years and like to keep it simple by just disconnecting the lower rad hose and letting it drain, then refill with 50/50. I doubt seriously if flushing is needed.

I do mine every 2-3 years, no more than 50k between changes. I drain radiator, fill with water, run engine, drain, repeat until runs clear. Then I fill with half the capacity of the system with pure antifreeze (to mix with the nothing but water that's in there). Every other coolant change I swith out the thermostat for good measure. Seems like cheap insurance.
