you need to take a pic for me of the "bolt" ,,,,,then I'll add another comment ........a tie rod is PART OF THE STEERING !!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it makes me mad too---I mean, nothing should have been wrong with it--aren't they paid huge bucks to do the job and wasn't it an easy job? And should they have been touching this "bolt" in the first place? I don't know, I'm not a mechanic . . but it is frustrating that it happened at all and then really frustrating that it took 2 complaints/visits for it to be resolved. The guys at the front desk are always so accomodating though .. hard to get really angry say on my survey, because it reflects on the whole dealership .. it really sucks that they are like this though, as the next closest dealer is 2 hours away from me. So for every little thing, I have to drive miles? May have to after this. . . .

if i recall,the survey bunches some jobs together when answering questions ,,,i think service advisers and techs are bundled ,not the whole store ,separate surveys for sales etc

 

the whole service dept failed you as no QC was done ,some stores have a tech (shop forman ) road test some jobs before customer comes to pick it up
