Safe to drive truck?

Quick question for y'all. I took my front drive shaft out to replace u-joints and long story short I'm not gonna get to finish it today. Question is can I drive the truck the 20 minutes to work tomorrow w/o the drive shaft and just finish it while I'm at the station?

It should be fine. The front output shaft in the transfer case is not sealed by the drive shaft so the t-case shouldn't leak. Just make sure you remove the straps from the front diff pinion and have the selector set to 2H so it doesn't try to engage 4wd.
