Motor Swap HELP! V6 - 454

Hey guys good evening,

 

I own a 1997 GMC Sierra SL with a fuel injected V6 in it. I want to change this motor out for a 454 preferrably something like this http://www.jegs.com/p/Chevrolet-Performance/Chevrolet-Performance-ZZ454ci-440HP-Engine/956498/10002/-1 . My question is will this work without alot of modifications. I'm aware I would need a new transmission and a new rear end, but can I do this and convert it to a carborated 454 and take away the computer for my current fuel injected V6. Do I need the computer for my ABS braking system and everything else I just dont connected to the motor since I will no longer have a fuel injected motor. This will be the first time attempting something like this and i'm trying to gather more information on how to go about doing this as painless as possible and without having someone do it for me. I guess my question is to you guys is what do I need to make this swap work, please dont spare any information as anything and everything helps.
