np1 transfer case

ok went and did a one over the whole thing cant see the top will be getting the inspection camera out tonight to check the top. what i did find is that on each bolt that holds the case together they were slightly rounded on each point im assuming this is not from the initial factory assembly it looks as if my case has been worked on are there any other indications that may tip me off that it has been removed could gm look up the serial # to see if it was a replacement/ reman. one more thing chevyboy86 when did your other trucks (miles)have the issue with the case?

If you look at the case rear to front, in about the 2 o'clock position is the fin or mold where the pinhole will happen. I don't think there's any need to inspect the top of the case.
