3500 cab-top clearance lamp

On a 2008 3500HD one of the small single bulb cab-top clearance lamps has gone dead. Dealer wants crazy money ($50+) for replacement. Anyone know a more reasonable source? Just need one, not a set.

It's not a bulb, Ryan. They don't just sell bulbs anymore. You need the whole LED assembly.

They may rebuild your models clearance light.

 

They did my caddys LED taillight for $150 bucks.

Dealer wanted over $300 for a new whole unit replacement.

They don't repair them............................

It would be the light on the passengers side too.......

Did I guess right ? Common Problem on the Truck I have experienced the same problem.

 

Replacement LCD light is expensive.

This one on the drivers side. Replaced one under warranty, now a second one, same spot.
