did you burp the cooling system? may not of gotten all the air out.try burping it again... bad would be a blown head gasket, or cracked head(s)..clean your radiator by compressed air blowing from the engine out the front the core fins can get clogged with dirt, leaves, bugs. then flush out with a garden hose and nozzle..if no compressor, just use water. if still hot, pick up a block tester from a good auto parts store. will tell you if your getting exhaust gasses in your cooling system...

good luck
