Torsion Bars

Does anyone have any pictures on how to raise them?

If you go into the search tool, there is quite a few threads on torsion bars including pics. I cranked mine by first lifting the front end off the ground to make it easier in torquing the nuts. I then lowered the front end and measured the distance of the frame to the ground to assure both sides were equal. Finally I got the truck realigned.

I just cranked my bars the other day.  Excellent results for 5 minutes of work. The full write up is on my website listed below, as well as pictures.  

 

I have to get the measurements from home and post them but I got just over an inch out of it.  It rides firmer but still completely acceptable.
