headers???

I have a 02 5.3 I was wondering if I can fit long tube headers on with no modifications, anyone have experience?

I went with Gibson shorties and they made a real difference. I could feel the difference right away when plowing snow.

Shorties are a waste of money IMO, clean everything up a little but under the hood and making ur wallet lighter. Save ur money get long tubes, shorties virtually give you nothing torque wise (seat of the pants) and HP it's only when the engine is revving 4500-5000rpm you might see 5-8HP...save ur money buy long tubes and a tune.

 

Here dyno result thing I was reading thru not long ago, they actually use gibsons too!
