I went into town today and out of nowhere my DIC displayed a service air bag message and the little red light on the display lit up. Is this something I can check on my own or will I have to get it to a dealer?

I found instructions on resetting the SRS module..basically pull the fuse, turn ignition on for 1-2 minutes, turn off, reinsert fuse. I'm going to try that tomorrow.

You were correct, however cost to try was $0 so it was worth a shot.
