A/c low side port location

Question

I was going to recharge the a/c on my 2007 2500hd, but cannot find the low side port. I have charged other vehicles, but this on has me stumped. Anyone know where this is located?

Thank you.

Thanks, but I already went through those. None show my truck with the setup that a 2007 chevy 2500hd has. Maybe I missed something, but I need someone who has one to help me locate it. The port on the top side where it should be is the high side port.

As a general rule, if you can't find the low side port, you are not qualified to be charging your ac system.

Agreed.

Do you see both service ports? If one is high side, the other is low. In this pic #2 is low, because it is downstream from the orifice tube, where pressure goes from high to low

Just found it. It actually on the canister, against the firewall. It's not on the rail, where everywhere else says it is

An example of that was shown in the search pics, apparently you didn't look at them. It was the first image to be listed

That's why if you find both ports, one is high one is low.

BTW, don't start two threads on the same topic.

No, I did look at them, it wasn't for my truck. I actually found my exact truck when searching on bing. Thanks for the help.

I posted under GM Technician because I was hoping for a tech to say, "Yes, it is located.....". Didn't want to cause confusion, just needed an answer.

I appreciate it.
