Mufflerectomy vs. Glasspack

So my 05 2500HD 6.0l came with the true dual system with two Cherrybomb Glasspacks dumped just in front of the rear axle, I was wondering would it sound better/ have less deep sound and more rumble with no mufflers, but still keep the cats? Basically would it sound better if I just chopped the mufflers off? Anybody have a 6.0l with mufflers removed?

Eh, it's all preference, do you like really loud exhaust thats raspy but raw? I like straight pipes but also like certain mufflers, i.e. I have two Cherry Bomb Extreme's and love 'em! Not seriously loud like straight through's but still have a nasty sound to em'!

I think maybe the Extremes are my best option cause I just have the regular glass packs
